Denn die todten reiten schnell – for the dead travel fast and so should you. Ride with the children of the night on this Gothic classic.

A little something I put together for All Hallows Eve, the Stoker is the darkest of our Gothic series of bicycles. A simple and speedy single speed with a touch of steampunk in the styling, incorporating copper, brass, wood and leather.I imagined it would be the kind of bike a modern day Van Helsing might go hunting vampires on.

We branched out our supply line for this build and got some really smart moustache handlebars from Soma Fabrications in California that are almost bat wing in shape, giving good leverage for sprinting through the night. In order to keep the dark paths lit we teamed these with a Soma Bullet headlight, which has a built in light sensor so it comes on when it’s dark and rear light that almost look like a rocket thruster or a chunky silver bullet. We finished off the back end with one of our own wooden rear fenders in dark cherry to keep the spray off your back.

Naturally, cross decals feature throughout to keep the vampires at bay, steel toe clips and leather straps keep you secured on the sporty leather saddle, which has copper plated rivets and rails, shining in the dark with the gold chain.
