A large box arrived this morning with my first batch of leather goods: saddles, saddle bags and bar tape. All very nice stuff. The saddles all have steel rails and fittings and the leather is genuine soft cow hide.

First up we have the Quill range of saddles; the black one with beaten copper rivets and copper plated rails; followed by the brown with regular rivets.

Then we have the beautiful Vellum saddle in ivory.

And the Bark saddle. We only have this in honey at the moment but it should be available in other colours too.

The Barrel saddle bag is currently available in honey too. The colour is not quite the same as the saddle due to the finish that is used to protect the saddle. The Barrel fastens to steel loops at the back of the saddle and is perfect for stashing keys, wallet, phone, or a small toolkit and spare tubes.

Finally we’ve got the soft leather Flax bar tape in three colours: black, brown, honey, to match the saddles. These rolls come with a set of wooden end plugs. Enough to wrap full drops.

Finally we have 100% cork grips. Old school but they sure soak up the road wrinkles.
